Project Analyst

Peterborough (PE1) - Hybrid (3 days in the office / 2 days WFH)

Initial 12 Month Contract - likely to extend for the right person!

Hours: 37 a week, Mon to Thurs 08:30 to 16:45, Fri 08:30 to 16:15

Up to £20.20 per hour PAYE £27.15ph via an umbrella company

 

Joining a leading Engine manufacturer the successful Project Analyst will support existing and new projects that have substantial Research and Development value.

 

What will you do?

·         Work with diverse teams across this global enterprise to develop and produce program and project management schedules in Microsoft Project

·         Work with different stakeholders to deliver and support a range of meetings including planning meetings and support program control meetings

·         Analyse data from schedule updates to explain the consequences of any changes and, working with project team members to resolve error and recommend solutions

·         Create and maintain issues/action logs, risk registers, scope change requests/logs, program work plans, program cost tracking and provide general workshop planning, execution, and follow-up assistance

·         Train Program Coordinators and project teams in the program management processes and software

 

Skills and experience will the Project Analyst need?

·         A college or University degree and/or evidence of equivalent progressively responsible job-related experience in Program Coordination, Information Technology, Engineering, project management or NPI

·         Proven experience with project management concepts, including project charters, scheduling and planning projects, and successful on-time delivery

·         Will possess extensive knowledge of project management software (MS Project experience desirable) MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Web Publishing tools
