Engineering Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Assistant to join our clients’ technical team in Clevedon. The company is a UK-based manufacturer that designs and builds high-reliability power systems used in safety-critical and infrastructure environments.
This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining accurate engineering documentation, improving processes and supporting the delivery of technical projects. You'll be part of an employee-owned company where your contributions are valued and the rewards are shared!

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the engineering drawing register and documentation
- Communicate with internal teams, suppliers and customers to clarify technical requirements
- Prepare and issue engineering drawings for approval and production
- Support creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials in the MRP system
- Keep supplier documentation up to date and ensure document control across systems
- Assist with internal technical specifications and project documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives
What You'll Need
- Engineering qualification (Level 3 or 4 in Electrical Engineering preferred)
- Experience with 2D drawing software
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Word, Teams)
- Attention to detail, excellent communication and strong time management
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and work independently or in a team
- Experience with MRP systems (desirable)
